Eddie Wilkinson is the Chief Executive Officer of Melton and is responsible for ensuring that the people, plants and processes of the company are all in place to deliver on the Group’s business plans. Prior to joining Melton in April 2005, Eddie is a qualified Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young and also worked for 15 years in the UK electricity industry.
Glyn Andrew is Melton’s Operations and Development Director and oversees all of the generation/development within the business, including all acquisition and new build activity, this also includes future plant life extension on existing assets. He also covers new business ventures and the future capital programme for Melton and its assets. His focus is on giving direction to existing assets and MSA, as well as directing further development and growth of Melton Renewable Energy. Prior to joining Melton Glyn spent over 40 years within UK’s energy industry across a wide range of technology and fuel sources.
David Rice is the Melton CLP Managing Director. David oversees the operation of 19 landfill gas generation sites across the UK. His focus is creating a best-in-class safety culture whilst managing a portfolio of gas field and generation assets that maximise methane capture to produce energy and protect the environment. David also works closely with the landfill gas industry to influence Government policy and industry codes of practice to help shape a sustainable future for this essential source of renewable energy.
Jamie Lawton is Melton’s Group Finance Director and oversees all financial reporting and compliance within the Melton EPR and CLP portfolios, including owned and managed assets. His particular focus is on overseeing the financial aspects of the Group’s long-term strategy. Prior to joining Melton in 2008, Jamie worked as a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Advisor with a Big Four accountancy firm.
Michael Jervis Chaston is Melton Renewable Energy’s Legal Counsel and has overall responsibility for the group legal function. Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1996 and before joining Melton in 2005, he worked at several large commercial law firms in London, Hong Kong and Sydney, specialising in large construction and projects disputes.
Lucy Goldsmith is the Group HR Director and is responsible for leading the HR and payroll teams. She manages employee relations across Melton’s portfolio of assets and is focused on creating effective people management strategies including talent and succession planning. Lucy joined Melton 15 years ago as an Accountant in the finance team before being appointed as the Head of HR in 2014.
Dale Skelton is Melton’s Group Safety, Health and Environment Manager. His focus is on ensuring that the company’s operational assets continue to function in a safe and environmentally conscious way. In addition to this, Dale focuses on the ever changing landscape of the renewable energy sector, and the ongoing legislative drive to reduce emissions and deal with the challenges this brings.
Bill Griffiths is Melton Renewable Energy’s Commercial Director and comes from a background of senior management roles across the agricultural and resource management sectors. His main focus at Melton Renewable Energy is managing the annual biomass fuel plan. Prior to joining Melton in May 2023, Bill managed recycling, composting and biomass contracts with Viridor and Esken Renewables, and used to run his own farming business.
Euan Grimstone is Melton’s Senior Development Manager and oversees new business ventures and the future capital programme for Melton’s biomass and landfill assets. His focus is on appraising and progressing further development and growth of Melton Renewable Energy’s assets and business. Prior to joining Melton Euan spent over 15 years at the UK’s leading recycler, Viridor, engaged in procurement, and large energy from waste development projects across the UK.
Teresa Wachter is Melton’s Commercial Manager covering fuel procurement, supply chain management, quality and delivery for EPR Thetford, Eye, Westfield and Glanford including various biomass fuels from a number of diverse sources throughout the UK andIreland. Her primary focus is to ensure a consistent and sufficient supply of biomass fuel is available and accessible to meet Station burn/output targets at all times within a £26m budget. With over 25 years experience within the business she has developed a broad knowledge of the biomass fuel market.
Brian Kershaw is a Project and Development Engineer at Melton. He is responsible for supporting the long-term development of Melton’s assets, with a particular focus on technical input. Before joining Melton in Spring 2023, Brian spent over seven years working in energy from waste with Suez, and environmental services firm. Prior to this, Brian held a number of engineering roles in the industrial gas industry, covering both design and operations.
